Congratulations: Éire Óg retain their North Tipperary crown with victory over Kiladangan - Tipperary Live

Senior Hurling: Congratulations to Nenagh Éire Óg senior hurlers who were crowned North senior hurling champions for the second year in a row on Saturday evening last in Dolla. In a tight game throughout, Nenagh won out by four points defeating Kiladangan on a scoreline of 21 points to 17.

Great scenes followed the full time whistle when captain Barry Heffernan accepted the Frank McGrath Cup for the second year running.

Conor Hennessy received the Man-of-the-Match award and in so doing followed a proud Hennessy family tradition, with his father, Phil, winning the award in the 1993 North Final and grandfather, Phil, winning it in 1964.

Well done to all involved in this great win.

Attention now turns to the County Championship where we play Drom and Inch in Round One next Saturday at 6.45pm in Templemore.
