I need some of that good fortune really soon. A Shelby, North Carolina woman won $2 million on a scratch-off just months after winning $1 million. The North Carolina Education Lottery is giving out some great news for sure.
Queen City News is reporting what a great story this is. The lucky winner, Kenya Sloan, let them know that she was beyond shocked to find out that she won again. Sloan bought her winning Diamond Dazzler ticket at the Esha Food Mart in Shelby. In August, she won $1 million playing the Carolina Jackpot game. Sloan went with her lump sum option and took home $855,006 after state and federal taxes. How lucky is that?
