“… Is this the end? Of course not. It’s only the beginning.” The quote from the musical, “Grease” — emblazoned on one graduate’s cap June 19 in Bear Stadium — said it all for this year’s La Vernia High School seniors, as they collected their diplomas. The graduation was postponed from its original date of May 29, due to COVID-19 restrictions for large gatherings. The delay didn’t put a damper on celebrations, as families gathered last Friday night to witness this year’s seniors leave their alma mater to begin new adventures in the next chapter in their lives. We wish you success in your future endeavors!
