Shortly after the coronavirus pandemic led to the closure of Connecticut schools in March, it looked as if the Daniel Hand High School (DHHS) Class of 2020 might not be able to have an in-person graduation, and the community wouldn’t be able to celebrate the students in the usual style.
Amidst that uncertainty, The Source committed to publishing this special issue that gives the public a chance to share messages of congratulations with the Class of 2020.
With frequently changing state guidance on public gatherings and no chance of holding the school’s traditional ceremony in front of friends and family, DHHS opted to hold a drive-in-style ceremony on Thursday, June 18.
