At SIMIAN, we’re very proud to have amassed a team of professionals that go above and beyond, and really invest their time in making our clients, trainees and apprentices gain the most out of our services and training schemes. Many of our team members have been with us for years, and in that time have continued to grow their skill set, leading to very many promotions and lots of personal progression within the business.
We’re delighted to announce that two more of our team members have recently been promoted, and we want to say a huge congratulations to Rosie Zubairi who has been promoted to Field Support Officer, and Natalie Hadfield who is now Simian’s Funded Learning Lead!
Rosie
Rosie joined us in our bookings team in 2017, which later evolved into the sales and customer engagement team, before going on to work closely with our apprenticeship team, invigilating exams for both functional skills and CSCS tests.
Having previously worked as a Reception and Nursery Teaching Assistant, Rosie has always had a keen interest in helping individuals in their learning and to develop their skills. Therefore, her promotion to Field Support Officer is perfect.
Within her new role, Rosie travels throughout the north to review each apprentice that is learning with SIMIAN’s, ensuring that they are progressing at the required level, providing any pastoral support that is required and addressing any concerns that the apprentice or their employer may have. Ultimately, she is a key contact for apprentices to turn to should they come across any issues during their training.
In addition to this, Rosie supports companies in sourcing apprentice candidates, so she attends career events and has recently run an assessment day at Warrington, a significant step in recruiting for Simian’s Pre-Employment Training Scheme (PETS) courses.
Speaking of her promotion, Rosie said: “I have enjoyed making my new role my own and it has really helped me grow as a person. I have always wanted to progress through the company not just for myself but also for my 2 little girls. Having been a single mum in the past I have a passion to show them that it is ok and possible to have a career as well as be a mum.”
Natalie
Natalie joined Simian as a Functional Skills Tutor, delivering English and Maths qualifications to apprentices on Simian’s apprenticeship scheme.
With previous experienced as a Teaching and Learning Coordinator for a large construction organisation, Natalie brought a significant amount of experience to her role at Simian, and therefore her promotion to Funded Learning Lead will allow our apprentices across the UK, to benefit from her expertise.
Within her new role Natalie will be heading up Simian’s apprenticeship scheme, assessing each area to ensure that apprentices are getting the most out of their training and can translate their skills into their future career.
She will be assessing quality of delivery, observing training, supporting learners at each stage of their training and building relationships with employers both seeking apprentices and those with apprentices taking part in our scheme.
Speaking of her new role, Natalie has said: “My role as Funded Learning Lead is so far been very interesting and I have enjoyed the challenges along the way. I have the amazing opportunity to travel throughout the UK to Simian’s various training sites in Warrington, Waltham Forest and Weston-super-Mare and support learners as they take this critical step in their scaffolding career.”
On behalf of the entire Simian team we would like to say a huge congratulations to both Rosie and Natalie!
