The Port Arthur News asked the young and young-at-heart to participate in our first ever NCAA basketball Color for Cash contest.
The 2020 NCAA Division I men’s and women’s basketball tournaments may have been cancelled, but that didn’t stop us from sharing the bracket fun with our readers and sponsors.
The entries, which were accepted through March 27, were amazing.
Judges had a tough time dwindling down the list of winners to four.
They are:
First Place – Austyn Guidry, who receives $100.
Second Place – Cheryl Petry, who receives $50.
Honorable mention – Christine Marsh, who receives $25
Honorable mention – Richard Ramsey, who receives $25
Please help us celebrate these talented artists.
The News also ran a sponsor contest with the coloring bonanza, and those winners are Boogie’s Car Wash (first place), Mid County Lube & Auto Repair (second place), Debbie Russell (third place) and Gregg Parker (fourth place).
