Congratulations To Marco Perez - The Chattanoogan

Congratulations to Marco Perez on winning the District 2 School Board race. Marco and his team ran a well organized campaign. It is my hope that Marco will take that same organizational skill to continue the improvement of our public schools for the benefit of our nearly 45,000 students.

Thanks to my incredible campaign team that worked tirelessly. Thanks as well to the many supporters who gave their time and treasure to our effort. To the citizens of District 2, I appreciate that you allowed me to knock on your doors, talk about your concerns, and put all those signs in your yards and on your business property. I am especially proud that our team turned out more votes than were cast in the entire 2016 District 2 election.

Finally, what a remarkable pleasure it was to explore the many wonderful neighborhoods of Red Bank, Rivermont, Stuart Heights, Mountain Creek and Signal Mountain. As a community, we are truly blessed.
