A Word Of Caution And Congratulations - The Newtown Bee

Regarding the birth announcement in the November 20, 2020, edition of The Bee, of Newtown Bee Sports Editor Andy Hutchison’s new son:

To Andy,

Congratulations to you and Mary Beth on the birth of your beautiful baby boy. But I have to warn you: our son also weighed 8½ lbs. and was 21 inches long; he is now 6 feet, 4 inches tall!

Grayson Hutchison will always be wearing “floods” (pants too short) right through high school, so save your money for pants, Andy. Also, our son is in the golf business (a director of the PGA of America), so of course he plays golf. When you are that tall, you have to buy extra-long clubs, so in case Grayson wants to play golf some day, save some more money, Andy! Again, congratulations to you and your wife. We are sure you are both beyond thrilled.
