Each year at our ELM Amplify User Conference, ELM Solutions presents the Legal Innovator Awards to clients who have taken a pioneering approach to improving the delivery of legal services within their organizations. This year’s winners were honored at a ceremony during the conference in Bonita Springs, Florida.
Both recipients show that the innovative use of legal technology and processes has the power to increase efficiency and deliver demonstrable value to the company. The 2023 Legal Innovator honorees are:
Chubb
Chubb’s exceptionally experienced team of legal operations professionals, previously recognized with a Legal Innovator Award in 2019, have once again taken extraordinary steps to improve their legal ops performance. They have recently been working with ELM Solutions to successfully streamline electronic claims expense billing and matter management capabilities. To better address their business needs, Chubb automated the process of sending invoices to external parties and customers, resulting in a more efficient claims process.
Marsh & McLennan Companies
The legal ops team at March & McLennan Companies was also able to streamline their processes to allow all of the organization’s global legal spend through a single legal management solution, Passport. This transformation allowed the company to nearly eliminate paper invoices and deliver improved reports to senior management. In addition, centralizing their data enabled the team to institute more relevant analysis that has led to more cost-effective decisions for stakeholders.
