It wasn't pretty but Manchester City got the job done in the Champions League final on Saturday night.

The Blues were not at their fluid best throughout a tense contest in Istanbul but Rodri's goal in the second half was enough to wrap up City's first European Cup.

There were nervous moments at the back, especially late on, but Ederson made some important saves to keep Inter at bay and preserve City's lead.

City are only the second English team in history to secure a treble, after United achieved the feat in 1999 - the same year City were promoted back to the second tier via that dramatic play-off win over Gillingham - and the success further cements Pep Guardiola's standing as one of the greatest managers of all-time.
