The 2016 Democratic presidential nominee congratulated Page in a Wednesday tweet, writing:

The 33-year-old actor and "Juno" star revealed in an emotionally charged Instagram post on Tuesday that he is transgender and vowed to do everything he could to "change this world for the better." 

Clinton was among several public figures, including lawmakers and celebrities, to show support for Page.
