Twelve APS employees won $466 in the New Mexico Educators Wellness & Weight Loss Challenge!
The Healthy Wage New Mexico Educators Wellness & Weight Loss Challenge was a 12-week program between APS, UNM, CNM, and other NM School Districts.
Teams of 4-9 competed in a behavior change journey to lose weight through better nutrition and movement. There were 257 participants in the challenge and 38 teams. APS had a strong presence with 92 competitors and 15 teams!
To win teams had to lose a collective total of 6%. APS had 2 teams in the top 5 complete this goal and 12 APS employees won $466.22!
A big congratulations goes to the first-place team overall awarded to The Bulldog Baddies from Albuquerque High School with a total loss of 9.1%.

- 8.8 average pounds lost
- 809 total # of pounds lost
