From Mountain Top, Dustingari was randomly selected as the 12th Weekly Winner of the TLCares program.
Dustin, 30, is the father of two young children, 6 and 4 years old, who works for a concrete construction company. He is a fairly recent subscriber to the Times Leader, but for good reason. In the past, he used to go to the store to pick up paper for his mother and family, but decided to start delivery a few months ago.
Enrolling in a Times Reader is the best and easiest way to participate in a TL care program. On November 26th, the Times Leader will pick one lucky winner and receive $ 25,000.
As part of the program, weekly winners will receive $ 1,000 and can choose a local charity or nonprofit to receive a $ 1,000 donation from the Times Leader.
Dustin said he wanted to do something to help the animals, so he chose Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge as a non-profit organization.
According to its website, BCF is a non-killing organization. For the past 15 years, Blue Chip’s mission has been to provide care, comfort and safety to all animals, which has been achieved solely through donation support.
